Spring 2020 Children’s and Young Adult Book Awards

Many of us, teachers and students alike, have found solace during this pandemic in the phenomenal children’s and young adult books that are available in print and online, through digital library collections and author read-alouds. Throughout all of this, the field of children’s literature has continued to produce titles that inspire, comfort, celebrate, and challenge readers in remarkable ways. Each spring, a number of awards are announced to honor and highlight those books, authors, and illustrators who push the field forward with quality, creativity, and care. 

Below are links to the books that we blogged about over the last year that have won recent awards and honors in the field of children’s and young adult literature.
