ALA Youth Media & NCTE Awards
The start of the calendar year is always an exciting time for children’s and young adult literature, as the American Library Association (ALA) announces its Youth Media Awards and the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) announces its Charlotte Huck and Orbis Pictus Awards for the best works from the previous year. Below you will find links to the 2015 ALA and NCTE award-winning and honor books that we blogged about over the course of 2014. We invite you to explore our previously written blog entries for these winners and honor books. In the coming weeks, we will select a few more titles from the list of winners and post blog entries to support you as you teach with these titles.
